Prairie Springs Park For leisure-time sport and natural beauty, this park is one of the village's most attended. And offers ample opportunity for swimming and boating, along with a beach and water slide is there. The park itself boasts a paved trail for joggers, bikers and skaters, not to mention picnic areas, a playground and an archery range. Also located in the park is the LakeView RecPlex, an indoor recreational facility for the entire family. Country Park Located off of Lawndale Drive North, this park is a bikers and hikers haven. There are a number of trails available for use including a one-and-a-half mile plus paved loop, a .2 mile bike trail that connects to the military park area, and a half mile trail designed for the visually impaired. The park offers a number of scenic water fountains and playground areas as well as picnic shelters, and free fishing on two stocked lakes. But perhaps the most popular feature is the "Bark Park," Greensboro's only off-leash dog park.
